The product
A CV describes someone’s experience, but turning that information into a career direction takes another step. Karisma AI is a career-navigation platform that connects information from a CV with possible career paths and learning steps.
The platform extracts skills, suggests three career paths across 42 job labels, identifies skill gaps, and generates personalized learning roadmaps. These numbers describe the product’s output and category coverage.
My contribution
I worked in a six-person cross-functional team during Coding Camp powered by DBS Foundation. My contributions covered database schema and ERD design, UI/UX planning, and full-stack integration.
These responsibilities connected the way information was structured with the experience presented to users. Karisma AI was a team delivery; my work focused on the data, interface planning, and integration that brought those pieces together.
From information to next steps
The product brings CV insights, career suggestions, skill gaps, and a learning roadmap into one career-exploration flow. The roadmap gives users learning steps to explore after reviewing the skills associated with possible career directions.
The application uses React and JavaScript for the interface, Express.js for the backend, and Supabase for data services, with Tailwind CSS, Vercel, and Railway in the project stack.
